Job Description Worker Duties 

A. Provides PeopleSoft technical lead services 
B. Completes tasks in an efficient and timely manner reporting progress to 
the Project Manager 
C. Follows through on all assignments and takes ownership of issues 
D. Communicates clearly and effectively with all involved parties, including 
stakeholders, executive management, and system integrators 
E. Works with PeopleSoft technical and functional resources effectively 
F. Manages large technical teams effectively 
G. Coordinates with other PeopleSoft teams from other parties 
H. Responsible for leading the technical delivery of solutions 
I. Performs code reviews as necessary 
J. Analyzes requirements and assess the resources and timing to deliver 
technical solutions 
K. Reviews and recommends object migration plans and corresponding 
Application Control Environment structure(s) 

WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS 

Minimum Requirements: 
Years Skills/Experience 
6 Experience managing team(s) of PeopleSoft technical staff 
5 Work experience in a PeopleSoft Technical/Architecture Lead 
5 Experience performing PeopleSoft upgrades and implementations 
4 Experience with PeopleSoft change management protocols and 
solutions (internal and external object control) 
4 Work experience with PeopleSoft application hardware and software 
design and implementation, including third party software implications 
4 Experience in an advisory role providing recommendations to 
customers on optimal PeopleSoft hardware architecture configuration 
and sizing 
3 Experience in a PeopleSoft on-call support role 
Strong Expert with the Microsoft Office products, including MSWord, 
Visio, Excel and PowerPoint Strong Demonstrated understanding of 
all aspects of PeopleSoft support, including DBA, System 
Administration, Technical and Functional support. 
Strong PeopleSoft version 9.x experience and PeopleTools 8.49 
experience 
Strong Communication, analytical and interpersonal skills at all 
levels. 
Strong Trained in PeopleSoft’s PeopleTools development suite 

Preferences: 
Years Skills/Experience 
5 Hands-on experience as a PeopleSoft developer, system 
administrator, architect or other PeopleSoft expert 
4 Demonstrated experience with AIX and network clients 
3 Experience using third party support and testing tools (e.g. Quest 
Stat, CA Service Desk, HP Loadrunner, etc) in a PeopleSoft technical 
environment. 
3 Public sector experience (Federal, State or Local Government). 
3 Good teamwork skills, ability to collaborate with other technical staff on 
the project. 
2+ Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to collaborate effectively on 
diverse teams (e.g., portfolio/project managers, domain experts, users, 
and software engineering team) to design and deploy business 
information systems across the enterprise. 
2 Understanding of computer related tools, methods, platforms and 
operating systems. 
1 Experience working with enterprise software solutions.
