Another important aspect is that in the face of BI questions and technology, DQ problems are often sidelined and take a back seat. This is one of the reasons why we find companies today struggling to gain access to high quality data which they can use to manage monitor and enhance their business performance in spite of huge investments they make in the most advanced technologies. They find it next to impossible having a clear picture of their performance, expenses and profitability. They are unable to also gain comprehensive and consolidated views from customers.

Understanding the urgent need, a lot of companies today are engaged in an endeavour to enhance the quality of their enterprise data in order to show an improvement and efficiency in performance. They strive to do this by implementing effective and complete programs throughout their enterprise which can govern their enterprise information assets after being analyzed in a comprehensive manner.
